The results of the surveys in the Ceiba and Okume fields are due to become available in 4Q20.

The company has started acquisition of the Plains 3D seismic survey in the Northern Shelf area of the Midland Basin in Texas, US, and Ravenclaw 3D in the Edson area of Alberta, Canada.

The ultramodern data was acquired over blocks Z5-C and Z5-D and surrounding open acreage as part of a multi-client programme agreed between CGG and Mozambique’s Instituto Nacional de Petroleo (INP).

The newly acquired seismic programmes provide modern high-resolution imaging which encompass 1606 km2 with an additional 632 km2 to be acquired in 2020.

The work is expected to commence in early January 2020 and will continue through most of 1Q20.

The data, acquired from a a US based E&P company, is available for licensing immediately.

The survey covers 1600 km2 of 3D and 800 km of 2D data in a deepwater area of the Bay of Bengal.

The project will cover approximately 1000 km2 of ocean bottom and towed streamer seismic on Repsol’s operated block offshore Peninsular Malaysia.

Planned to start in early 2020, the survey has already received significant industry interest and is being prefunded in part by BP.

The survey at block 11B-12B will be Shearwater’s first project offshore South Africa.

The project duration is approximately two months and is scheduled to commence in 4Q19.
